You will not suprise anybody with cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchinis, cabbages and potatoes. This stuff is everywhere. But you can hardly find in Russia fresh spinach, artichoke, purslane, sea beans, okra, leek, plants under the names "pazı" and "tere" (they don't grow in our climate, that is why I can't translate their names), kale or leaf cabbage (the Turks call it "black cabbage") and green beans. So, when you come to Istanbul or any other Turkish city, try to find and eat these products. Most of the regions of Turkey use olive oil for cooking, which of course, makes the cuisine of the Mediterranean and the Aegean sea, one of the healthiest in the world. I want to share with a you a recipe of a very delicious salad that will remind you the sun and boost your energy and happiness. So, we'll need fresh spinach, pomegranate, walnuts, goat cheese, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and spices to your taste. I take all food proportions by eye, cut, crumble and mix. Bon appetit!
