Let's get some coffee.

My choice of coffee depends on my mood and the weather. When it is unbearably hot outside, I prefer cold latte with almond milk from Starbucks (almond makes the taste more sweet and soft). How great it is that this popular chain of coffee shops have started to care about people who don't consume animal fat.

Well, when the weather is cold or rainy, you want something cosy and homely. Then I make a pistachio flavored coffee.

It ıs a sort of coffee made of ground pistachios, amd it looks like a black oily paste. For the first time I tried it during my trip to Gaziantep (a city in the south of Turkey, well known for the cultivation of pistachios). As a rule, they make this coffe using milk what makes its flavor super soft. I fell in love with this drink from the first sip.

Pistachio coffee in Turkey is sold under the name "Menengich", you can buy it in big markets.

By the way, you can also make this coffee with water, but my advice: try it with almond milk.

Mastic flavored coffee can be found almost everywhere. It has a characteristic aroma of a resin obtained from the mastic tree. I drink this sort of coffee after breakfast, sometimes I add some milk, which softens its bitter taste.
